Fiber Artist Susan Leaverton hails from Absarokee, MT. She has this to share about her adorable "Lambscapes":
"52 years ago I wove the first Lambscape while still living in Maryland where I was part of the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival for 38 years. Over the years I have woven 1000s (and 1000s! of them. They have been taken or sent all over the world, as my well-behaved ambassadors of peace, love and joy. They never fail to bring a smile as a miniature reminder of our glorious Big Sky Country.
These lambs are 100% wool except for the occasional snippet of novelty yarn for accents, and are born in my home studio in Absarokee, MT."
Each Lambscape measures approximately 5.5" wide X 5.5" long, although they may vary slightly.
